We clean our homes regularly. But what most of us do not realize is that many of the common cleaning products contain toxic substances that contribute to chronic health problems and environmental pollution.

It is easy to stick with the same routine and thing you have been doing for years, but I want to encourage you to prepare own cleaning products so you can create a safe environment for you and your family and protect the nature.
Not everyone can afford the often more expensive ecological cleaning products. Luckily, many natural products that are easily obtainable are cheep and very effective. You will probably find all needed ingredients to create your own cleaning products in your kitchen cupboard. The basic products are:
baking soda
vinegar
lemon juice or citric acid
salt;
natural essential oils (optional)
cloth, sponge.
In the right proportions, these products will fight against dust and pollution well and are harmless to your health and the environment.

On the basis of these ingredients, you can wash practically everything. Remember that household cleaning products also have an expiration date. Products prepared according to the above recipes can be used for about 2-3 months. Then you just have to get rid of them.
